Junior Unity Developer

About the Role

As a unity developer, you will be responsible for planning and implementing product functionality, building the code, identifying bottlenecks, and ensuring the quality of the finished product. You may also be required to build patches and install product updates.We have a very flat hierarchy for effective communication which we believe is a cornerstone to a good team . Experience with hyper casual games(games like temple run,subway surfer) is a big bonus. Your responsibilities are:

  • Communicate with all the team members to establish a pipeline and integrate art assets, taking into account the game road map
  • Work closely with the game designers and artists to enable the designers and artists to express their creativity within the game
  • Assist your project lead by providing regular feedback on implementation issues and possible improvements to game design
  • Actively suggest and implement the best solutions in the development process and in the game systems.
  • Address bugs and other technical issues identified for subsequent release
  • Testing product functionality and theme dynamics.
  • Ensuring products conform to high industry standards.
  • Designing and building game patches and upgrades.
  • Good Communication Skills.
  • About You

  • Strong, professional experience using Unity and C#
  • Wide understanding of different game technology areas (gameplay, graphics, UI,tools etc.)
  • Good Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals and concepts
  • Basic understanding of programming best practices
  • Ability to quickly get up to speed with existing code
  • Passion for games
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in the role of an Unity Developer.
  • Skills Required

  • Knowledge of the Unity Development Cycle
  • Good troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of collaboration tools like Confluence and Jira.

  • Graduate/Diploma in UI/UX or equivalent educational background.
